UX/UI Designer, AI Learning Apps

About the role

Blast Learning is hiring a designer for three connected AI learning experiences that share one design system: young children, high school and college students, and parents. The AI assembles approved components per learner rather than a fixed set of screens.

What you'll do

• Design three connected experiences on one system: early learners ages 4 to 8, high school and college students, and parents.
• Design a library of flexible components the AI assembles per learner, rather than a fixed set of screens.
• Deliver a Figma design system, responsive layouts, localization guidelines, clickable prototypes, and developer-ready specs.
• Make every combination consistent, easy to use, and safe for children, including learners who cannot read yet.
• Work with the lead engineer and a senior engineer in India.

Requirements

• 5 or more years designing digital products, including at least one consumer product people chose to use.
• Portfolio of designs you created yourself, not only as part of a team.
• Experience designing for more than one language or culture, and responsive layouts for computer, tablet, and phone.
• Expert in Figma, including component libraries and design systems.
• Fluent written and spoken English, available for regular video calls during US business hours, and no subcontracting.
