Posted 48m ago

About the role

We are looking for a proactive, tech-savvy, and highly organised Short-Term Rental Systems & Operations Administrator to join our client's growing holiday rental business. This role combines short-term rental/property management administration, systems administration, and operational support. You will play an important role in helping the business transition to a new property management platform, maintain accurate property and operational data, and ensure the systems supporting the business continue to run smoothly. One of your first key projects will be supporting the migration from Guesty to Resly. You'll help with system setup, data accuracy, configuration, testing, documentation, and user adoption while working closely with the team to ensure a smooth transition. Once the migration is complete, you'll take an ongoing role in administering and maintaining the property management system, supporting the team with system-related queries, maintaining property information, improving workflows, and identifying opportunities to make day-to-day operations more efficient. This is a great opportunity for someone with short-term rental or property management experience who also enjoys working with technology, learning new systems, and improving the way teams work.

What you'll do

  • Set up and onboard new properties within the property management system.
  • Configure property settings, pricing structures, fees, availability, and system preferences.
  • Maintain accurate property descriptions, listing information, images, and operational data.
  • Ensure high standards of data accuracy and integrity through regular audits and updates.
  • Perform ongoing maintenance of the property management system and related business platforms.
  • Assist with troubleshooting system issues and coordinate resolutions where required.
  • Act as the internal point of contact for system-related queries and provide day-to-day support to team members.
  • Support the team with property management administration and operational tasks as required.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in short-term rentals, property management administration, operations support, administration, or a similar role.
  • Experience using property management software, CRM platforms, booking systems, or other business systems.
  • Comfortable learning and adapting to new software platforms and technologies.
  • Experience supporting a software implementation, system change, migration, or process improvement project is highly regarded.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Proven ability to work independently, take ownership of responsibilities, and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience creating SOPs, process documentation, user guides, or training materials is highly regarded.
  • Comfortable supporting system changes and helping team members adapt to new processes or tools.
  • Experience with Resly is highly preferred.
  • Experience with Guesty, Conduit, PropertyMe, Hostaway, Lodgify, or similar property management systems is highly regarded.
  • Familiarity with ActiveCampaign or similar CRM platforms is advantageous.
  • Comfortable working during Australian business hours.
  • A commitment to delivering excellent service while supporting both internal stakeholders and property owners.
