Principal Applied AI Engineer

About the role

Hands-on principal engineering role at Chris Corzo Injury Attorneys. Use AI to expand what the firm can accomplish, and personally turn approved priorities into dependable production systems.

What you'll do

• Research and test AI capabilities against CCIA workflows, economics, constraints, and opportunities.
• Recommend and sequence the highest-impact opportunities using profit, cost, risk, dependencies, and speed to value.
• Compare buying, configuring, integrating, building, or waiting, and run the smallest useful test when uncertainty matters.
• Architect, build, integrate, and deploy approved AI solutions, including agentic systems.
• Establish permissions, evaluations, tests, monitoring, failure recovery, and documentation.
• Work with process owners on adoption and measurable business results.

Requirements

• Proven end-to-end delivery and operation of production AI, including a tool-using LLM agent performing real work for actual users.
• Strong Python or TypeScript, plus APIs, databases, authentication, Git, testing, and deployment.
• Practical command of retrieval, tool use, state, evaluation, and production reliability.
• Sound business judgment and clear written and spoken English.
• Available Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–noon U.S. Central, with remaining hours flexible.
