Cybersecurity Expert
About the role
Models will hand you code that looks secure and quietly ships a hardcoded secret, a broken auth check, or an injection the linter never flags. Someone has to tell security theater from an actual defense, and that someone is you. As a Cybersecurity Expert you'll probe frontier models for unsafe code and exploit paths, rate how they reason about real threats, and write the judgments that teach the next generation what secure actually means.
What you'll do
- Probe models for weak spots across authentication, crypto, input handling, and secret management, and see where their advice falls apart.
- Rate the security reasoning against real-world practice: catch the theater, the missing check, and the confidently wrong fix.
- Write the secure answer when the model falls short, with the threat model and the trade-offs spelled out.
Requirements
- Professional experience in security engineering, defensive operations, or offensive work.
- Comfort reasoning about real threats: authentication, crypto, injection, and secret handling.
- Clear written English: your explanations are the training signal.
- No degree required. We care about what you can do, not where you learned it.
