Long-Form YouTube Documentary Editor | AI Visuals + Sound Design

About the role

We are building Earth Before Memory, a new English-language YouTube documentary channel focused on prehistoric Earth, extinct animals, ancient oceans, evolution and deep time. We are looking for ONE long-term editor who can take a detailed production blueprint and turn it into a polished 12–16 minute cinematic documentary. You should be comfortable handling most of the production process yourself, including: • Long-form YouTube editing • AI-generated images and video • Cinematic still-image animation / parallax • ElevenLabs voice generation and selecting the best takes • Music selection • Sound design • Maps, diagrams and simple documentary UI

What you'll do

• Turn a detailed production blueprint into a polished 12–16 minute cinematic documentary.
• Handle long-form YouTube editing and cinematic still-image animation / parallax.
• Generate and integrate AI images and video.
• Generate voice with ElevenLabs and select the best takes.
• Handle music selection, sound design, maps, diagrams and simple documentary UI.

Requirements

• Comfortable handling most of the production process yourself, not a basic cut-clips-together editing job.
• Experience with long-form YouTube editing.
• Experience with AI-generated images and video.
• Experience with ElevenLabs voice generation.
• Able to deliver cinematic 12–16 minute documentaries.
