Data Scientist

About the role

Emapta-hosted Data Scientist supporting an Australian digital media client. Build production ML, generative AI, and agentic systems (Vertex AI, RAG, LangChain) from experimentation through monitored production. Onsite Ortigas, day shift.

What you'll do

• Develop machine learning models from customer behavior, product usage, and engagement data
• Design generative and agentic AI solutions using Gemini, Claude, or open-source models and LangChain or ADK
• Develop RAG systems using vector databases such as pgvector, Pinecone, or Weaviate
• Fine-tune and adapt foundation models using LoRA and QLoRA
• Own ML and LLM deployment and operations through Google Vertex AI

Requirements

• Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field
• 3-5+ years of end-to-end Data Science and Machine Learning experience
• Strong hands-on GCP and Google Vertex AI experience
• Experience designing and deploying agentic AI systems using LangChain, Google ADK, or equivalent
• Strong Python and SQL skills, including pandas, scikit-learn, XGBoost, or LightGBM
