Graphic Designer Specialist — Freelance AI Trainer Project
About the role
Meridial (powered by Invisible Technologies) is seeking experienced graphic designers worldwide to help train AI on visual communication and design. You’ll evaluate AI-generated design content, assess composition, layout, color theory, and typography, and provide expert feedback to help build AI that genuinely understands creative visual principles across print and digital formats. Remote, worldwide-open, $6–$65/hr.
What you'll do
- Analyze AI-generated graphics and visual design content; evaluate composition, visual hierarchy, color usage, and typography for accuracy and adherence to design principles
- Provide expert feedback on AI design outputs across both print and digital formats; annotate design errors and assess how well AI understands creative decision-making
- Evaluate AI on layout design, color systems, visual communication, and creative concept development in a range of design contexts
- Collaborate with the team to refine prompts, evaluation processes, and design quality guidelines; suggest improvements to how AI reasons about visual design
Requirements
- Deep professional experience in graphic design: visual communication, layout design, color systems, and creative concept development across print and digital
- Fluency with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign required; Adobe XD or Figma for UI/UX work valuable; After Effects or Premiere Pro for motion graphics is a plus
- Strong creative judgment, meticulous attention to detail, and clear communication skills — ability to explain design reasoning and evaluate visual quality precisely
