What you'll do
- Matched with remote AI-training projects spanning RLHF, model evaluation, and expert review
- Hourly pay roughly $50–$250/hr depending on project and expertise (platform average ~$96/hr)
- Weekly payouts via Stripe, typically processed by Wednesday (PST)
- Human review required before any hour deductions, with a formal dispute process
- Work availability varies significantly by project — workers describe it as 'feast or famine'
Requirements
- Professional credentials or deep domain expertise in the relevant field (e.g., medicine, law, engineering, consulting)
- Minimum undergraduate-level expertise
- Stripe account to receive payouts
- Willingness to use Mercor's Insightful time-tracking app, which takes periodic screenshots during work sessions
