About the role

Experienced developers who work across both the front end and the back end can help train AI on real coding work. It's about 15 hours a week, open globally and fully remote, and you choose your own hours. Pay is per approved task. AI Alerts may earn a referral fee if you're hired through this link. It costs you nothing and doesn't change how we pick or rank jobs.

What you'll do

  • Build, change and debug front end and back end parts of applications
  • Build user features plus the services, APIs and data models behind them
  • Trace requests and data from the browser through APIs, services and databases
  • Work inside unfamiliar codebases and understand how they're built
  • Diagnose problems with app state, APIs, logins, data storage, networking and deployment
  • Translate full coding builds from one programming language into another
  • Review AI written code for correctness, completeness, performance, security and maintainability

Requirements

  • Strong professional experience building production apps across the whole stack
  • Real hands on experience with both front end and back end work
  • Production experience in more than one programming language
  • Strong knowledge of browser apps, APIs, app state, databases and service integration
  • Comfortable working in unfamiliar codebases
  • Strong debugging and problem solving skills
  • Process: screening questions, a 30 minute AI interview, a technical test if needed, then a hiring manager review
