Applied AI Engineer – 3D Automation & Rendering
About the role
The role uses AI, programming, and automation to turn architectural floorplans and CAD files into 3D models and realistic renderings for manufactured housing. It is a technical developer seat, not a traditional CAD or rendering job.
What you'll do
- Research and experiment with the latest AI tools for 3D modeling and rendering.
- Build automated systems that convert architectural plans and CAD files into accurate 3D models.
- Develop Python scripts, APIs, and automated workflows.
- Integrate AI models, computer vision, and open-source technologies.
- Use AI and procedural modeling to automate 3D geometry creation.
Requirements
- Strong Python programming and software development skills.
- Hands-on experience using AI models, AI APIs, and automation tools.
- Experience with generative AI, computer vision, or multimodal AI.
- A Mac is required.
