AI & IT Automation Engineer

About the role

A two-attorney Maryland law firm wants an AI and IT automation engineer to implement generative AI safely in the practice and support Clio and Mac systems.

What you'll do

• Advise the attorneys on practical uses of artificial intelligence in a small law practice.
• Implement generative AI tools and build prompts, workflows, templates, and automations for recurring legal and admin tasks.
• Train attorneys and staff and set procedures for confidentiality, accuracy, and professional responsibility.
• Support Clio configuration, matters, billing workflows, and integrations with AI tools.
• Provide Mac, network, and cybersecurity support for confidential client information.

Requirements

• Strong, current knowledge of artificial intelligence, generative AI, and AI productivity tools.
• Significant familiarity with Clio legal practice management software.
• Strong experience supporting users on Apple Macintosh and macOS.
• Understanding of cybersecurity, backups, access controls, and protection of confidential information.
• Ability to explain technology clearly to attorneys. Submit a resume covering AI, Clio, Mac, and cybersecurity experience.
