Robot Operator ( Dayshift, On-site Clark Office)
About the role
We are looking for skilled Robot Pilots to remotely control robots and perform other tasks to enable our advanced technology from our Clark-based facilities. Ideal candidates will possess strong operational skills, quick reflexes, and the ability to rapidly adapt to new technologies. This position demands high precision, attention to detail, and effective real time problem-solving capabilities in a dynamic, tech-driven environment.
What you'll do
- Operate remote-controlled robotics systems accurately, ensuring smooth and efficient performance;
- Utilize VR technology, specialized software interfaces, and advanced gaming controllers for system navigation and operation;
- Maintain comprehensive situational awareness while managing live operational systems;
- Rapidly adapt to new platforms, control schemes, and technological upgrades;
- Adhere strictly to standard operating procedures to ensure safety and operational efficiency;
- Perform initial troubleshooting and escalate system issues promptly and accurately;
- Collaborate with operations and technical teams to optimize procedures and enhance system performance;
- Follow stringent security and compliance measures to prevent data breaches and cybersecurity incidents;
- Conduct routine/preventive maintenance, pre-operation inspections, functional testing, and system checks during downtime to ensure equipment reliability and readiness;
- Document operational activities, errors, and incidents for accurate record-keeping and tracking purposes;
- Participate in training and actively share knowledge with team members and operators as needed;
- Strictly adhere to workplace safety guidelines to ensure a secure and safe working environment for all team members.
Requirements
- Work Environment Fit: Ability to thrive in structured, high-tech operational environments. Ability and willingness to report 100% onsite in Clark on a shifting schedule is a must.
- Communication skills: Basic English is acceptable. The job is predominantly non-voice work.
- Reflexes and Coordination: Exceptional hand-eye coordination, precision, and rapid decision-making skills.
- Technical Aptitude: Comfortable with advanced technology such as VR systems, drone control, and other interactive hardware.
- Problem-Solving: Quick and efficient troubleshooting abilities to manage real-time challenges.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and meticulousness in handling controls and operational processes.
- Other Essential Traits: Methodical, focused, spatial awareness, tactical mindset, strong hand-eye coordination.
