Tagalog Voice Acting Specialist — Freelance AI Trainer Project
About the role
Meridial (powered by Invisible Technologies) is looking for near-native Tagalog speakers in the Philippines to record voice data for AI training. You’ll record short scripted reads and participate in paired or group script readings in Tagalog — light voice acting/voiceover with clean diction, natural delivery, and consistent quality. Must be bilingual (Tagalog + at least one other language, preferably non-English). Quiet space and a decent mic required. Remote, ph_based, $8–$65/hr.
What you'll do
- Record short lines and paragraphs in Tagalog across various tones (friendly, neutral, authoritative); participate in paired or group script readings of around 5 minutes
- Follow voice direction; retake as needed for timing, emphasis, and clarity; submit clean, well-labeled audio files on schedule
- Demonstrate expressive, conversational delivery with clean diction; maintain consistent quality across multiple recording sessions
Requirements
- Near-native fluency in Tagalog required; must speak at least 2 languages well (preferably non-English as the second), with native or near-native proficiency in each
- Silent recording environment: no background noise, echo, or hum; a good USB/XLR microphone, stable setup, and pop filter if possible
- Ability to follow briefs and take direction on pronunciation and style; prior voice acting, voiceover, or podcast experience and basic audio hygiene are a plus
