Lead AI Engineer
About the role
Lead hands-on AI engineering for WPP's creator, influencer, and social commerce platforms from Manila. Build production LLM, RAG, and agent features used across APAC client work.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered features across WPP proprietary platforms.
- Build practical AI solutions using LLMs, multimodal AI, embeddings, vector search, workflow orchestration, and AI agents.
- Integrate AI into influencer planning, creator discovery, content analysis, automation, and reporting tools.
- Develop prompt engineering, RAG, semantic search, embeddings pipelines, and AI orchestration workflows.
- Mentor junior AI engineers and help set engineering practices for production AI systems.
Requirements
- 5+ years in software engineering, machine learning, or applied AI, with recent generative AI / LLM experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python and modern AI development frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, embeddings, vector databases, and RAG architectures.
- Experience with OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, Vertex AI, LangChain, or similar ecosystems.
- Experience building APIs and production-ready AI applications, including Docker and CI/CD.
