Business and Management Specialist – Freelance AI Trainer
About the role
Meridial (formerly Invisible Technologies) is hiring freelance AI trainers with business and management expertise to help advance large language models. You will challenge advanced LLMs on business strategy, operations, and management scenarios, evaluate model reasoning for logical consistency and real-world applicability, and document failure modes to strengthen AI capabilities. Entry-level candidates with foundational business knowledge are welcome to apply alongside seasoned professionals.
What you'll do
- Challenge advanced language models with business scenarios, analytical questions, and strategy-based exercises (e.g. business case analysis, decision frameworks, market positioning)
- Evaluate model responses for logical consistency and real-world applicability in business and management contexts
- Capture reproducible error traces and document failure modes to improve model reasoning quality
- Provide structured feedback on prompts and evaluation frameworks to enhance model understanding of organizational dynamics
- Identify where models oversimplify business processes or misunderstand how real organizations operate in practice
Requirements
- Background in business administration, management, economics, entrepreneurship, or a related field preferred but not required
- Experience in business operations, startups, corporate environments, consulting, or project coordination is valuable
- Clear metacognitive communication — ability to explicitly articulate reasoning and 'show your work' when evaluating model responses
- Strong problem-solving skills; entry-level candidates with foundational knowledge and analytical ability are encouraged to apply
- Must provide own secure computer and high-speed internet connection (contractor role; no company-sponsored benefits)
