About the role
A French e-commerce brand selling dietary supplements is hiring a freelance video editor to assemble video ads for Facebook and Instagram. The editor receives a brief (instructions, script, sometimes a storyboard) and delivers the videos. Scripts are in French, with a translation provided. The editor sources and/or AI-generates the visuals, then delivers via Google Drive.
What you'll do
- Edit vertical direct-response video ads for Meta.
- Work in batches from a complete brief, script, and sometimes a storyboard.
- Source and/or AI-generate the visuals needed for the edit.
- Deliver via Google Drive within the agreed deadlines.
- Apply marketing-team feedback and ad results to the next batch.
Requirements
- Mastery of direct-response ad editing.
- Ability to reproduce a video format from a script and a reference video.
- Ability to edit videos in a language that is not your own; scripts are in French with a translation provided.
- Proficiency with AI image and video generation tools.
- Autonomy, reliability, and respect for deadlines.
