Senior AI Automation & Business Systems Lead
About the role
Remote senior role building and maintaining AI bots and automations, including existing Hermes bots, with Codex and Claude Code. Pay is up to $30 USD per hour and the schedule must overlap U.S. Central business hours.
What you'll do
- Meet department leaders and map processes across sales, customer service, operations, recruiting, onboarding, finance, and management.
- Turn business needs into project requirements, priorities, timelines, and measurable outcomes.
- Audit existing Hermes bots, integrations, and workflows and fix reliability gaps.
- Use Codex and Claude Code to develop, troubleshoot, test, and maintain solutions.
- Connect business tools through APIs, webhooks, scripts, and automation platforms.
- Write SOPs, process maps, and an inventory of bots, automations, and subscriptions.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience deploying business automations or internal software that real teams use.
- Hands-on proficiency with both Codex and Claude Code, including how you verify their work.
- Strong programming ability in Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience with APIs, webhooks, authentication, databases, Git, and troubleshooting integrations.
- Experience with at least one automation platform, such as n8n, Make, or Zapier.
- Reliable availability overlapping U.S. Central business hours.
