About the role
OpenTrain AI is hiring a DevOps AI Training and Code Evaluation Expert to design infrastructure-focused training tasks, write reference solutions, and evaluate AI-generated code and infrastructure outputs. This worldwide, part-time contractor role requires at least three years of professional DevOps/SRE/platform experience; prior AI training experience is not required.
What you'll do
- Design tasks involving CI/CD, containers, orchestration, infrastructure as code, monitoring, and incident response.
- Write working reference solutions with clear setup and validation steps.
- Review AI-generated code and infrastructure outputs for correctness.
- Identify failures and write precise corrections with supporting reasoning.
- Provide structured feedback that improves future task design.
Requirements
- At least three years of professional experience in DevOps, SRE, platform, or infrastructure engineering.
- Production-quality coding ability in Python, Go, Bash, or TypeScript.
- Hands-on expertise with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and at least one major cloud platform.
- Advanced Linux and Git knowledge.
- Professional written and spoken English.
- Prior AI training experience not required.
