Video Editing AI Evaluation Specialist
About the role
OpenTrain AI is hiring a Video Editing AI Evaluation Specialist to edit raw footage according to detailed briefs and produce finished videos that meet specified requirements, with the work used to evaluate AI model performance on real-world video editing tasks. This is a remote, hourly freelance role paying $1–$2 per hour with a 20+ hour weekly minimum (40 hours default). Candidates apply through OpenTrain.
What you'll do
- Review raw footage, b-roll, separate audio, logos, graphics, and other provided assets
- Edit videos to match requirements for tone, pacing, music, captions, subtitles, brand colors, fonts, and logo placement
- Follow detailed project briefs and produce high-quality finished edits
- Deliver completed edits within the time constraints provided in the brief
- Use footage only for AI model evaluation and do not resell, publish, or share it outside the evaluation work
Requirements
- Strong video editing skills and experience using editing software
- Ability to follow detailed briefs and meet client requirements
- Reliable internet connection
- Ability to work remotely
- Ownership or authorized usage rights for submitted footage
- Consent from identifiable individuals appearing in submitted footage
