Software Engineer - AI Focused
About the role
RCBC is hiring a software engineer to design, develop, and maintain LLM-powered applications integrated with core banking systems. The role covers agentic orchestration, RAG, prompt engineering, and production evaluation controls.
What you'll do
- Lead architecture and development of applications that integrate LLMs with banking core systems via agentic orchestration, multi-agent systems, RAG, MCP, and prompt engineering
- Develop front-end and API interfaces that expose agentic applications to the workforce
- Engineer LLM evaluation frameworks and controls that reduce hallucinations
- Define CI/CD, unit testing for AI, and code-review practices and share them with data engineers
- Research emerging agentic technologies and prototype them on the bank's legacy infrastructure
Requirements
- Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field
- Experience building LLM-powered applications (production or strong POC)
- 4-5 years of software engineering experience, including at least 2 years deploying LLM-based applications
- Strong Python and SQL skills
- Understanding of vector databases (Milvus, Pinecone) and advanced RAG retrieval
- Experience with LLM Ops / ML Ops pipelines and cloud deployment (AWS and/or Google preferred)
