Clinical Medicine AI Specialist
About the role
As a Clinical Medicine AI Specialist, you will directly improve the accuracy and safety of AI in clinical reasoning, diagnostic support, and patient-facing health information. Your professional judgment will teach AI to understand the nuances of medical language, evidence hierarchies, and real-world clinical workflows.
What you'll do
- Reviewing AI-Generated Clinical Summaries: Evaluating AI’s interpretation of patient histories, discharge notes, imaging reports, and multi-disciplinary case discussions.
- Labeling Clinical Cases & Symptoms: Annotating de-identified case vignettes, symptom clusters, and differential diagnoses aligned with current clinical guidelines.
- Evaluating AI-Powered Diagnostic & Triage Suggestions: Assessing diagnostic recommendations, treatment plans, and triage outputs, and providing expert, guideline-based feedback.
- Building Medical Knowledge Graphs: Defining and validating relationships between diseases, drugs, procedures, contraindications, and ICD / SNOMED concepts.
Requirements
- A medical degree (MD, MBBS, or equivalent), or an advanced degree (MSc / PhD) in a clinical or biomedical field. Board certification or specialist qualification is highly desirable.
- Practical clinical experience in a hospital, clinic, or academic medical center; a recognized specialty (e.g., internal medicine, radiology, oncology, cardiology, pathology) is a major plus.
- A deep understanding of clinical guidelines, medical terminology (ICD-10 / 11, SNOMED CT, LOINC), and evidence-based medicine.
- Strong analytical and critical-reasoning skills with rigorous attention to detail.
- Commitment to patient privacy, data de-identification standards, and clinical ethics.
