Senior Full Stack AI Engineer
About the role
A remote client is hiring a Senior Full Stack AI Engineer to ship LLM-powered applications, agents, RAG systems, and cloud-native APIs from concept to production.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack web applications.
- Build and integrate AI-powered features using modern LLMs and AI APIs.
- Develop AI agents capable of executing multi-step workflows and business processes.
- Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems using vector databases.
- Build secure REST APIs and backend services.
- Optimize application performance and AI inference costs.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional full-stack software engineering experience.
- 2+ years building production AI applications.
- Strong experience with JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Strong backend experience with Python and/or Node.js.
- Hands-on experience integrating Large Language Models (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, etc.).
- Experience building AI agents and automation workflows.
- Knowledge of RAG and vector databases.
