AI Agent Development Specialist
About the role
Contract RAG build for a WhatsApp legal assistant covering Dominican Republic Civil, Administrative, and Corporate law. The specialist designs the document pipeline, vector store, LangChain/LlamaIndex retrieval, and LLM + WhatsApp Business API wiring.
What you'll do
- Extract, clean, and chunk legal PDFs from Dominican legislation for the RAG corpus
- Set up a vector database (ChromaDB, Qdrant, or PostgreSQL with pgvector) for embeddings
- Build the retrieval and generation workflow with LangChain or LlamaIndex
- Connect OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, or local Ollama models for cited answers
- Ship a FastAPI/Flask backend, WhatsApp Business API integration, and Docker/VPS deploy
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Python (3+ years)
- Experience building RAG systems with LangChain or LlamaIndex
- Hands-on experience with vector databases (ChromaDB, Qdrant, Pinecone, or pgvector)
- Understanding of LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, or open-source models)
- Experience with PDF parsing and text preprocessing
- Familiarity with FastAPI or Flask and Docker
