Jr AI Integration Engineer – Accounting Solutions

About the role

Junior role helping take AI features from concept to production in accounting software — LLM integration, conversational/voice AI, APIs, guardrails, and production monitoring. Junior candidates with practical AI work are welcome.

What you'll do

• Integrate AI and LLM capabilities into accounting software
• Build APIs, backend services, middleware, and integration components
• Develop conversational and voice-based AI functionality
• Build AI workflows using structured outputs, tool/function calling, and system actions
• Define AI boundaries, permissions, validation rules, fallback behavior, and guardrails

Requirements

• Hands-on software development experience
• Practical experience integrating AI or LLM capabilities into applications (professional, academic, or personal projects welcome)
• Experience with APIs, backend services, databases, and system integrations
• Familiarity with LLM APIs, prompt/system instruction design, structured outputs, or tool/function calling
• An understanding of AI limitations, hallucinations, validation, guardrails, and fallback mechanisms
