AI Automation Engineer
About the role
Build and deploy AI agents, automations, and cross-system integrations for Wentwood Capital. Reports to the CEO; HMO via Maxicare. Not an ML/data-science role.
What you'll do
- Build the technical foundation for company-wide automation and AI, including integrations, secrets, logging, and rollback.
- Build AI agents that use tools, interact with company systems, and complete multi-step workflows.
- Turn documented SOPs into automations via APIs, webhooks, Power Automate, Zapier, Make, n8n, or custom code.
- Write Python or JavaScript when no-code tools are not enough and monitor reliability.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience building automations, integrations, internal tools, or software.
- Hands-on experience building and deploying AI agents and agentic workflows.
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs, webhooks, JSON, authentication, and third-party integrations.
- Working knowledge of Python and/or JavaScript and tools such as Zapier, Make, n8n, or Power Automate.
