Free AI Tool Helps Philippine MSMEs Get Bank Loans — Here's How to Use It

The problem: Most MSMEs cannot get bank loans because their documents are not bankable

The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) just launched a tool built specifically for this gap: the MSME AI Tech Stack.

What the MSME AI Tech Stack does

It is a free, mobile-first platform where you get an AI assistant to help with the exact documents banks ask for. No coding required, no subscription fee.

• Calculate profitable pricing models
• Interpret contracts in plain language
• Build a marketing strategy to strengthen your application

The platform works in English, Filipino, and major regional languages including Bisaya and Ilocano.

What happens on the bank side

The tool also addresses the bank review process directly. Machine learning models help refine credit assessments, so a small shop with inconsistent receipts but a solid business plan has a better shot at approval. Land Bank of the Philippines is a partner in this initiative.

The project is also part of an ASEAN-level commitment: the ASEAN Priority Economic Deliverable on AI-Powered MSME Growth, with the Philippines leading the effort in the region.
