Senior Applied AI Software Engineer
About the role
M3 MR is hiring in Manila for a senior engineer who ships production systems that combine software engineering, data science, large language models, and agentic AI. The role is remote in Manila and must overlap US Eastern hours.
What you'll do
- Design, build, test and maintain production software systems.
- Develop scalable services, APIs, and integrations.
- Operationalise statistical and decision-science models into production.
- Build AI-powered products and workflows, including agent-based systems.
- Select and integrate foundation models, and optimise cost and performance.
- Work with data scientists, engineers, IT, and business analysts on digital twins, decision support, and Copilot-style experiences.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Experience delivering production applications and services and building AI-enabled products or intelligent systems.
- Strong React, Node.js and TypeScript, plus Python for AI, automation, and data work.
- Practical experience with LLMs, generative AI, prompt engineering, RAG, agentic workflows, and AI orchestration.
- API development, SQL, data modelling, automated testing, CI/CD, and production monitoring of AI systems.
- Must be willing to work US Eastern hours.
