Billing Specialist (Medical/behavioral health billing)
About the role
A Billing Specialist will be an integral part of our team as you manage the flow of all insurance claims and client payments. You will support our clients and staff in ensuring that our staff get paid for the work they do and that our clients are charged accurately and consistently. Reports to: Owner and/or Administrative Manager

- 2+ years prior experience with medical billing
- ● 1+ years mental health billing experience preferred
- ● Solid basic math skills required.
- ● Impeccable communication skills - warm and efficient on the phone; professional, detailed, and efficient over email
- ● Highly detail-oriented and organized
- ● Confident with technology use
- ● Loves to work independently AND able to function as part of a team
- ● Diligent in solving problems independently
- ● Reliable and consistent
