Senior AI Engineer — Stratpoint (Manila)
About the role
Stratpoint is hiring a Senior AI Engineer to lead the design, development, and deployment of AI solutions spanning natural language processing, computer vision, data science, and agentic AI. The role acts as a forward-deployed engineer, working directly with clients and building AI agents, chatbots, and copilot systems using frameworks like LangChain and LangGraph. Based in Mandaluyong, Metro Manila, with a hybrid work setup.
What you'll do
- Lead end-to-end design, development, and deployment of AI/ML models across LLMs, Generative AI, NLP (chatbots, autonomous agents), computer vision (object detection, pose estimation, OCR), demand forecasting, and geospatial visualization
- Provide technical leadership and guidance across the full AI project lifecycle, from ideation to deployment and maintenance
- Act as a forward-deployed engineer, working directly with clients to gather requirements, define scope, and deliver AI solutions integrated into client systems
- Drive development of intelligent AI agents, chatbots, and copilot solutions using frameworks like ReAct, CLAM, LangChain, LangGraph, and MCP
- Develop and optimize AI models for edge deployment, including custom OCR pipelines and mobile-based AI applications
- Conduct R&D on state-of-the-art AI/ML methods and propose innovative approaches for the company's AI offerings
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field
- 5-8+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering roles with a track record of leading and delivering complex AI projects
- Demonstrated expertise in at least two of: Natural Language Processing (LLMs, GenAI, RAG), Computer Vision, or Advanced Data Science/Machine Learning
- Proficiency in Python (essential), plus Java or Scala
- Strong experience with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch, and hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Experience with agent orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph) and multi-agent systems is highly desirable
