AI ML Architect
About the role
3Pillar Global is hiring an AI ML Architect to define end-to-end architecture for AI/ML and GenAI systems — covering data pipelines, model training/inference, and MLOps across Azure, AWS, or GCP. The role leads RAG system design, guides LLM integrations (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini), and acts as a strategic technical advisor to enterprise clients. Requires 12+ years of ML/data science experience with a Master's degree.
What you'll do
- Define end-to-end AI/ML architecture including data pipelines, model training/inference, and MLOps
- Architect scalable solutions using cloud-native AI tools (Azure ML, AWS SageMaker, GCP Vertex AI)
- Lead GenAI integration using LLM APIs (OpenAI, Gemini, Claude) or open-source models into enterprise applications
- Design RAG systems with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS) and guide MLOps frameworks for CI/CD, model versioning, and automated retraining
- Serve as strategic technical advisor in client-facing discussions; evaluate build-vs-buy decisions for AI tools and platforms
- Mentor solution architects, data engineers, and ML engineers; drive ethical and responsible AI practices
Requirements
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 12+ years of ML/data science industry experience
- Strong grasp of AI architecture patterns: RAG, agent-based systems, prompt orchestration
- Deep experience with Python and ML libraries (scikit-learn, XGBoost, PyTorch, TensorFlow)
- Hands-on with GenAI APIs (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini), prompt engineering, embeddings, and fine-tuning
- Experience designing enterprise AI systems with MLOps (MLflow, Kubeflow, SageMaker Pipelines)
- Familiarity with APIs, microservices, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
