Sr Agentic Engineer
About the role
We The Flywheel is hiring a Senior Agentic Engineer to own end-to-end AI agent workflows across a portfolio of 500+ digital products. You've shipped real things using Claude Code, Cursor, or Aider — here you architect multi-step agent pipelines, debug agentic failures, build reusable MCP integrations, and mentor junior engineers. Under 30 hrs/week, fully remote from the Philippines.
What you'll do
- Architect and own end-to-end agentic workflows across WTF's product portfolio of 500+ web properties across 42 markets.
- Decompose vague feature requests into precise, agent-executable task chains; scope and manage week+ work independently.
- Debug complex multi-step agent failures — diagnose root cause, recover, and prevent recurrence.
- Build reusable prompt libraries, MCP integrations, and workflow templates shared across the engineering team.
- Review and improve prompts and pipelines built by junior engineers; evaluate new AI tools and recommend integrations.
Requirements
- 1–2+ years shipping real things with AI coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor, Aider, Codex) — track record required, not just familiarity.
- Can point to multiple artifacts built and maintained: scripts, automations, shipped features, or internal tooling.
- Strong written communication — you write prompts that work and explain failures clearly.
- Comfortable operating without supervision for week+ scopes in an async, remote-first environment.
- Preferred: MCP integration experience, public artifacts (GitHub, Replit, Cloudflare Workers), experience reviewing AI-assisted work.
