About the role
EY GDS Consulting in Taguig is hiring a Senior Data Scientist / AI Engineer to deliver classical ML, generative AI, and agent-based solutions. The role covers solution design, development, deployment, and improvement of production-ready AI systems, including MLOps and LLMOps practices. It sits in the Philippines GDS consulting practice.
What you'll do
- Design and develop machine learning models and AI applications, including generative AI and agent-based solutions.
- Work with data and AI platforms to build, integrate, and refine models so solutions stay scalable and aligned with business needs.
- Implement the appropriate ML, GenAI, or agentic approach for the problem, and improve existing AI systems.
- Apply MLOps / LLMOps practices such as deployment, versioning, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
- Deliver practical AI solutions that create measurable business value across a mixed project portfolio.
Requirements
- Strong Python engineering with pandas, NumPy, statsmodels, scikit-learn, and production code practices.
- Hands-on Databricks experience (DLT, Unity Catalog, MLflow, model serving, notebook orchestration).
- Practical expertise in time-series/statistical diagnostics and model validation.
- Experience deploying and operating ML systems with reproducibility, observability, and controls.
- Ability to communicate technical model outcomes to business and governance audiences.
- Preferred: credit-risk / financial modeling experience; agent frameworks (LangChain, Databricks agents); automated documentation pipelines and model-governance tooling.
