About the role
Welo Data is hiring Filipino-speaking contributors in the Philippines to evaluate and rewrite AI-generated language so models handle Filipino more accurately. The freelance project runs about four weeks at roughly 20 hours per week, with structured evaluation, prompt-response writing, and cultural-relevance checks done remotely.
What you'll do
- Evaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy, grammar, and cultural relevance.
- Identify issues and provide refined, high-quality rewritten responses.
- Create natural prompts and responses in Filipino to improve conversational datasets.
- Work structured tasks such as preference ranking (factuality and locality), grammaticality checks, and text improvement.
- Collaborate with global teams to help improve AI language models.
Requirements
- Background as a teacher is preferred but not a must, or experience in teaching or writing in Filipino.
- Excellent written communication and strong grammatical accuracy.
- Familiarity with cultural nuances in Filipino.
- Comfortable with structured tasks such as preference ranking, prompt-response writing, grammaticality checks, and text improvement.
- Must be based in the Philippines; do not use VPNs or IP-masking tools during recruitment.
