Senior Document Automation Engineer

About the role

AgentLegal.com is hiring a Senior Document Automation Engineer to build a global document-generation engine that uses Claude/OpenAI, APIs, and DocuSign for legal and compliance packages.

What you'll do

• Automate incorporation and corporate legal documents.
• Convert legal templates/forms into dynamic document workflows.
• Build conditional logic and reusable clause/template libraries.
• Generate DOCX/PDF documents from structured customer data.
• Integrate document generation with Claude/OpenAI, APIs, DocuSign, and the platform.
• Build automated document validation and quality-control systems.

Requirements

• Strong Python and/or TypeScript/Node.js.
• Document automation/document assembly experience.
• HotDocs, Contract Express, Docassemble, Gavel, or similar.
• DOCX/PDF generation and conditional document logic.
• Claude/OpenAI API integration.
• DocuSign or similar e-signature APIs.
• This is an engineering role—not a Word formatting or basic mail-merge position.
