Mechanical Engineering Expert

About the role

Global remote contract, about 15 hours a week, for a mechanical engineer with an MSc or PhD to create and check engineering tasks used to train AI.

What you'll do

• Create, solve, review, and validate engineering tasks used in an AI training project.
• Translate physical requirements into a computational model, including geometry or mesh, materials, and boundary conditions.
• Run an engineering simulation and decide whether the artifact meets the physical and design constraints.
• Work about 15 hours a week on a flexible schedule, including weekends if you choose.

Requirements

• MSc or PhD in mechanical engineering, as stated in the title and posting.
• Able to work in structural, thermal, mechanical, and multiphysics tasks, with Python mentioned as part of the project.
• Ready to start a first task within 24–48 hours of onboarding if selected.
• Pay is per accepted task. The post does not publish a numeric rate.
