Agentic Audio Specialist — Freelance AI Trainer Project
About the role
Meridial (powered by Invisible Technologies) is seeking communicators with strong English verbal skills worldwide to benchmark and evaluate advanced AI audio models for customer service applications. You’ll run role-play scenarios simulating flight booking, financial services, and telecom support interactions; assess AI performance on conversational naturalness, task completion, and instruction adherence; and contribute to datasets that improve real-world AI voice agents. Remote, worldwide, $11–$30.65/hr.
What you'll do
- Create and execute role-play evaluation scenarios simulating realistic customer service interactions across flight bookings, financial services, and telecommunications/technical support domains
- Evaluate AI audio model performance across task completion accuracy, conversational naturalness, audio comprehension, response quality, instruction adherence, and contextual understanding
- Contribute to diverse, representative evaluation datasets for conversational AI audio agents; ensure evaluations reflect real customer expectations for clarity, efficiency, and natural conversational flow
- Apply standardized qualitative and quantitative evaluation metrics; provide structured feedback on model performance; use basic JSON/programming literacy to reason about structured evaluation data
Requirements
- Strong verbal communication skills in a customer support simulation context; English fluency across all skills — reading, listening, writing, and speaking
- Access to a high-quality microphone for clean audio input during evaluations; device capable of running audio recording software and opening large technical documentation
- Basic programming literacy: understanding of JSON structures, functions/methods, and ability to reason about structured data and simple logic; comfort working with structured prompts and evaluation rubrics
