Radiological Health Specialist — Freelance AI Trainer Project
About the role
Meridial (powered by Invisible Technologies) is seeking radiological health experts in the Philippines to train AI language models. You’ll challenge advanced AI on radiation protection, dosimetry, health physics, radiological emergency response, radiation safety regulations, and biological effects of ionizing radiation — verifying accuracy, documenting failure modes, and improving model reasoning. Remote from the Philippines, $8–$65/hr.
What you'll do
- Challenge AI models on radiological health topics including radiation protection, dosimetry, health physics, emergency response, and radiation safety regulations; verify factual accuracy and logical soundness
- Document AI failure modes in reasoning about radiation exposure limits, shielding design, biological effects of ionizing radiation, contamination control, and radiological risk assessment
- Capture reproducible error traces and suggest improvements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics for radiological health AI tasks
- Apply metacognitive communication — explicitly articulate technical reasoning, show your work, and explain error patterns in a structured, actionable way
Requirements
- Deep expertise in radiological health or health physics; a degree in health physics, radiological sciences, or a closely related field is ideal; Certified Health Physicist (CHP) credential is a plus
- Experience in radiation safety program management, nuclear facility health physics, or radiation protection regulation signals strong fit
- Clear, metacognitive communication style — ability to explain complex radiological health reasoning step-by-step; experience in AI evaluation or scientific annotation is a plus
