AI Data Quality Specialist - English (PH)
About the role
Welo Data is hiring AI Data Quality & Annotation Specialists in the Philippines on a freelance remote basis. You will evaluate English-language content to help develop and improve large language models, assessing outputs for sentiment accuracy, factual consistency, and reasoning quality using structured scoring guidelines.
What you'll do
- Review and label content for sentiment accuracy, factual consistency, and reasoning issues
- Evaluate model outputs across quality dimensions using structured scoring frameworks
- Validate automated assessments and identify discrepancies or errors in AI-generated content
Requirements
- Advanced English proficiency (reading and writing) with professional-level fluency
- Strong comprehension and articulation skills with ability to provide clear written justifications
- Previous experience in data annotation, AI training, or related projects
- Exceptional attention to detail and consistency across high volumes of tasks
- Proven analytical reasoning and critical thinking abilities
- Preferred: background in linguistics, journalism, research, or similar analytical fields
- Preferred: familiarity with AI systems, large language models, or evaluation processes
