We The Flywheel – Sr Agentic Engineer (Philippines)
About the role
Own end-to-end agentic engineering workflows at We The Flywheel — architect multi-step AI agent pipelines, debug complex failures, and mentor junior engineers. You have a track record of shipping real things with Claude Code, Cursor, or Aider across multiple projects. Remote from anywhere in the Philippines, async-first, contract under 30 hrs/week with ongoing potential.
What you'll do
- Architect and own end-to-end agentic workflows across the product portfolio — from vague brief to shipped output
- Decompose feature requests into precise, agent-executable task chains and debug multi-step agent failures
- Build reusable prompt libraries, MCP integrations, and workflow templates for the wider team
- Review and improve prompts and pipelines built by junior engineers; pair on harder scopes
- Evaluate and recommend new AI tools and model integrations; stay ahead of the tooling curve
Requirements
- 1–2+ years shipping real things with AI coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor, Aider, Codex) — track record required, not just familiarity
- Multiple linkable shipped artifacts: scripts, automations, features, or internal tooling across different projects
- Comfortable self-scoping work for week-plus durations without supervision
- Developed taste for when to trust AI output versus when to push back and iterate
- Strong written English for async prompts and failure explanations
- Preferred: MCP/Model Context Protocol integration experience, cross-product portfolio work, experience reviewing AI-assisted code
