Financial Institutions Specialist — Freelance AI Trainer Project
About the role
Meridial (powered by Invisible Technologies) is seeking financial services professionals worldwide to train AI on banking systems, financial regulation, and institutional decision-making. You’ll challenge AI on balance sheet analysis, regulatory compliance frameworks, credit risk assessment, liquidity management, capital adequacy, AML controls, and macroeconomic policy impacts — documenting failure modes and helping build AI that accurately understands the complexities of financial institutions. Entry-level candidates welcome. Remote, worldwide-open, $6–$65/hr.
What you'll do
- Engage AI models with financial institution scenarios, regulatory and compliance questions, and analytical exercises covering banking systems, capital markets, retail and commercial banking, central banking, and institutional governance
- Verify factual correctness and institutional logic of AI outputs; assess risk-related reasoning on credit risk, liquidity, capital adequacy, and AML controls
- Capture reproducible error traces and identify where models oversimplify financial regulations or misinterpret institutional processes
- Provide structured feedback to improve prompts, evaluation frameworks, and analytical depth for financial and regulatory AI topics
Requirements
- Background in finance, economics, accounting, business administration, or a related field preferred but not required; experience in banks, credit unions, regulatory bodies, or financial consultancies is highly valued
- Entry-level candidates with foundational knowledge of financial systems and strong analytical skills are encouraged to apply
- Clear, metacognitive communication — ability to explicitly articulate reasoning and decision processes (‘show your work’) is essential
