About the role
Thinking Machines is a technology consultancy building AI & data platforms for high-impact problems. As a GenAI Engineer, you'll harness the power of Large Language Models (LLMs) to design, build, and deploy innovative conversational AI solutions. You'll be involved in the full lifecycle — from prototyping to production — building robust, real-world AI systems. This is a hybrid role based in Taguig, Metro Manila (avg. 2 days/week in office). Philippines-based applicants only.
What you'll do
- LLM integration: connect language models into client-facing products and APIs
- Prompt engineering: develop and refine prompting strategies for specific conversational goals
- Fine-tuning & optimization: fine-tune pre-trained LLMs on specific tasks and datasets
- Data processing: prepare data for model training and fine-tuning
- Model evaluation: assess LLM and AI system performance using appropriate metrics
- MLOps: deploy, monitor, and continuously improve GenAI systems in production
- R&D: track the latest advances in LLMs and apply cutting-edge techniques
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in machine learning or software engineering; hands-on LLM/GenAI experience is a plus.
- Strong Python skills with experience in libraries such as Transformers and LangChain.
- Solid foundations in machine learning principles and algorithms.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) for deploying and monitoring ML models.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Ideal: experience with product development, MLOps in a professional capacity, or relevant cloud/ML certifications.
