Investment Specialist — Freelance AI Trainer Project
About the role
Meridial (powered by Invisible Technologies) is seeking investment professionals and finance-literate individuals worldwide to train AI on investment analysis and financial markets. You’ll challenge AI on fundamental and technical analysis, portfolio construction, diversification strategies, asset allocation, derivatives, valuation methods, risk management, and macroeconomic influences — verifying financial logic, documenting reasoning failures, and helping build AI that accurately supports investors and analysts worldwide. Entry-level candidates welcome. Remote, worldwide-open, $6–$65/hr.
What you'll do
- Engage AI models with investment scenarios, analytical questions, and market-based reasoning tasks covering equity and fixed-income markets, portfolio management, asset allocation, derivatives, and behavioral finance
- Verify factual correctness and financial logic of AI outputs; assess the validity of investment reasoning on portfolio construction, diversification, market cycles, and performance evaluation
- Capture reproducible error traces and identify where models oversimplify market behavior, misinterpret financial data, or misunderstand valuation and risk frameworks
- Provide structured feedback to improve prompts, evaluation frameworks, and analytical depth for investment and financial markets AI topics
Requirements
- Background in finance, economics, accounting, business, or a related field preferred but not required; experience in asset management, brokerage, research, or financial planning is valuable
- Entry-level candidates with foundational knowledge of investments and strong analytical skills are encouraged to apply alongside experienced finance professionals
- Clear, metacognitive communication — ability to explicitly articulate investment reasoning and decision-making processes (‘show your work’) is essential
