AI Data Scientist (GenAI) - Lingaro Group
About the role
Lingaro's Philippines team is hiring a GenAI-focused Data Scientist to build production-grade AI applications end-to-end — chatbots, voicebots, Talk-to-Data systems — using RAG, LangChain/LangGraph, LlamaIndex, and LLM fine-tuning. You'll work across the full stack from data ingestion and vector retrieval through orchestration, API/backend, and evaluation frameworks, translating business problems into deployed AI solutions for global enterprise clients.
What you'll do
- Build end-to-end GenAI applications (chatbots, voicebots, Talk-to-Data systems) including data ingestion, retrieval layer, orchestration (LangChain/LlamaIndex/LangGraph), API/backend, and UI.
- Implement RAG pipelines with vector databases, hybrid search, rerankers, query transformation, and evaluation frameworks for relevance and robustness.
- Perform model selection, prompting strategies, and fine-tuning (LoRA/QLoRA/SFT) for text, code, and multimodal models including guardrails, output evaluation, and A/B testing.
- Integrate and optimize LLMs with external tools, APIs, and data sources via MCP connectors in a standardized and scalable way.
- Translate business problems into technical AI goals by defining tasks, auditing data feasibility, and surfacing issues; support end-to-end project delivery.
Requirements
- Experience with ML/AI — especially Generative AI (LLM/LMM) with focus on NLP or multimodal models.
- Proficiency in Python and OOP; working knowledge of SQL and vector databases; familiarity with Azure or GCP.
- Hands-on with deep learning and GenAI libraries: NumPy, PyTorch, HuggingFace, LangChain, LangGraph, OpenAI/Gemini APIs.
- Experience with microservice architectures and code repositories/AI coding assistants.
- Strong business acumen — ability to frame customer problems into actionable AI solutions.
