Python Coding Specialist — Freelance AI Trainer Project
About the role
Meridial (powered by Invisible Technologies) is seeking experienced Python developers worldwide to train next-generation AI models on software engineering. You’ll challenge AI on algorithms, data structures, asynchronous programming, RESTful APIs, object-oriented design, secure coding practices, and debugging distributed systems — verifying logical accuracy, assessing code quality, and documenting failure modes to help AI better assist engineers everywhere. Remote, worldwide-open, $8–$65/hr.
What you'll do
- Challenge AI models on Python software engineering tasks: algorithms, data structures, asynchronous programming, RESTful API integration, memory management, object-oriented design, secure coding practices, and distributed system debugging
- Verify logical accuracy and coding fluency of AI responses; assess code quality, clarity, and adherence to software engineering best practices
- Capture reproducible error traces and provide structured expert feedback on where and how AI reasoning breaks down in Python scenarios
- Suggest improvements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics based on real-world Python development experience
Requirements
- Strong Python engineering background across algorithms, data structures, software architecture, frontend/backend development, cloud infrastructure, or systems programming
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in CS or SE is ideal; real-world Python experience, technical writing, or open-source contributions also strongly signal fit
- Clear, metacognitive communication — ability to ‘show your work’ and explain software engineering reasoning in precise, reproducible detail
