Securities & Commodities Specialist — Freelance AI Trainer Project
About the role
Meridial (powered by Invisible Technologies) is seeking Securities & Commodities Specialists worldwide to train next-generation AI financial models. You’ll challenge large language models on investment strategies, derivatives trading, risk management, regulatory compliance, financial modeling, and market microstructure — documenting failure modes, verifying factual accuracy, and refining how AI understands complex financial scenarios. Fully remote, worldwide-open, paid hourly.
What you'll do
- Engage advanced AI models on real-world trading scenarios, asset valuation, options and futures contracts, SEC regulations, and commodities markets to surface and document failures
- Verify factual accuracy and logical soundness of AI outputs on financial topics, capturing reproducible error traces
- Suggest improvements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics based on your domain expertise
- Provide clear metacognitive explanations — ‘showing your work’ — to help the model reason through complex financial problems correctly
Requirements
- Background in securities, commodities, or financial services — investment strategies, risk management, derivatives, regulatory compliance, or portfolio analysis
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in finance, economics, business, or a closely related field preferred; CFA, FRM, or Series licences are strong signals
- Professional experience on trading floors, in financial analysis, or compliance projects strongly valued
- Clear, metacognitive communication skills in English to document errors and explain financial reasoning
