Senior Forward Deployed Engineer
About the role
DevRev is hiring a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer for its Philippines remote team. You will work directly with enterprise customers to build and deploy AI agents, integrations, and automations on DevRev's Computer platform, spending the majority of your time on hands-on technical implementation and collaborating with customers to translate complex workflows into production AI solutions.
What you'll do
- Design, build, and deploy AI agents, integrations, and automations that connect DevRev with customers' existing tech stacks via APIs, webhooks, and real-time event architectures.
- Apply prompt engineering, RAG, and LLM function calling to optimize agent accuracy and the end-user experience across enterprise deployments.
- Write SQL queries, perform data analysis, and build dashboards surfacing actionable insights for customer decision-making.
- Lead rapid proof-of-concept development, deliver technical demos, and drive iteration cycles with enterprise stakeholders.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, customer success, and revenue to align customer outcomes with platform capabilities.
Requirements
- 6+ years in software development, systems integration, or platform engineering in customer-facing or forward-deployed roles.
- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript and Python; Go is a plus.
- Proven experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, function calling, and building evals for agentic AI solutions.
- Deep experience with API integration patterns (REST, GraphQL, webhooks), cloud deployment (AWS Lambda, GCP), and CI/CD practices.
