About the role
Meridial (powered by Invisible Technologies) is seeking structural engineering specialists in the Philippines to train next-generation AI on structural analysis and design. You’ll challenge AI on load path analysis, shear and moment calculations, reinforced concrete design, steel structures, earthquake engineering, bridge design, and finite element modeling — verifying factual accuracy, documenting failure modes, and helping build AI that genuinely understands structural engineering. Remote from the Philippines, $8–$65/hr.
What you'll do
- Challenge AI models on structural engineering topics: load path analysis, shear and moment calculations, structural dynamics, building code interpretation, stability of structures, failure mechanics, and seismic load modeling
- Engage models on structural analysis, reinforced concrete and steel design, materials science, earthquake engineering, bridge design, and finite element modeling scenarios
- Verify factual accuracy and logical soundness of AI outputs on structural problems; document every failure mode and capture reproducible error traces
- Suggest improvements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics based on your field experience and design knowledge
Requirements
- Deep expertise in structural engineering: structural analysis, materials science, reinforced concrete design, steel structures, earthquake engineering, bridge design, and/or finite element modeling
- PhD in structural or civil engineering is ideal; peer-reviewed publications, field inspections, building information modeling (BIM) experience, or large-scale structural design projects strongly signal fit
- Clear, metacognitive communication — ability to ‘show your work’ and explain structural engineering reasoning in precise, structured detail
