About the role
Part of ElevenLabs' Productions team — a marketplace delivering AI-enhanced media at scale. As a freelance Audiobook Specialist, you'll edit and polish AI-generated narrations for natural flow, character consistency, and pacing, collaborating with audio engineering teams for global book publishers and media companies.
What you'll do
- Edit and polish AI-generated audiobook narrations for natural flow and consistency
- Ensure character voices, tone, and pacing align with the author's intent
- Handle voice casting and direction to match the style of the book
- Collaborate with audio engineering and mixing teams on mastering and post-production
- Earn competitive task-based compensation with flexible scheduling
Requirements
- Native or near-native fluency in English (and/or other supported languages)
- Prior experience in audiobook narration, production, or editing
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to audio and linguistic accuracy
- Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality work on time
