Digital Marketing Manager
About the role
This role owns the full digital marketing function across two brands. A local content creator handles on-the-ground video and photography. This person takes that raw material and turns it into a high-performing digital presence — paid ads, organic social, email campaigns, automations, and lead generation systems. Each offering has its own audience, positioning and go-to market approach. Campaigns, content and brand voice need to be built and run independently per offering rather than collapsed into one generic marketing motion - this is a key reason the role spans across ‘two brands’ throughout the document. The right candidate will assess what's currently in place, identify gaps and quick wins, build out systems and workflows in Go High Level, and manage ongoing campaign performance. This is a hands-on, autonomous role with significant scope to shape the marketing direction of a growing business.
What you'll do
- Plan and manage paid campaigns across Meta and Google Ads — audience targeting, creative, budget, and ongoing optimisation for both brands' service lines (plumbing, reticulation, turf, hardscape)
- Run day-to-day organic social media: content calendar, scheduling, posting, and community engagement, turning raw footage/photography into platform-ready posts, reels, and ad creatives
- Produce graphics and short-form video edits for social, ads, email, and in-store promos, keeping visual consistency across both brands
- Plan and run email/SMS campaigns and automated nurture sequences to drive repeat business, referrals, and cross-sell from the existing customer base
- Set up and manage Go High Level (GHL) — CRM, pipelines, lead capture funnels, and automated follow-up/notification workflows, migrating lead intake off Smartsheets
- Support on-page SEO and keep the business ahead of AI-driven search (GEO) trends
- Own top-of-funnel lead gen and report on key metrics — ROAS, cost per lead, engagement, and email/SMS performance — with regular recommendations for new channels
- Build and continuously test a marketing funnel (audience, copy, creative, ads, landing pages) for each business unit
- Build and maintain websites and campaign landing pages for each brand/service line
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a digital marketing generalist role, ideally working with SMEs, trades, or service-based businesses.
- Demonstrated experience with Go High Level, including CRM configuration, funnel building, and marketing automation.
- Proven track record managing Meta and Google Ads campaigns with measurable ROI outcomes.
- Strong graphic design skills with proficiency in Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Comfortable with light video editing for social media content.
- Experience with email and SMS marketing, including segmentation and automation.
- Proactive, self-directed, and comfortable operating autonomously with minimal supervision.
- Strong English communication skills — written and verbal.
- Familiarity with AI tools and a willingness to leverage them for efficiency and insight.
