Performance Marketer

About the role

We seek a hands-on Performance Marketer role focused on generating high-quality leads for a busy local trade business. You'll own paid advertising campaigns end-to-end, working closely with the business owner and AI tools to turn ad spend into booked jobs. There's also room to support broader marketing, admin, and reporting tasks as the role develops.

What you'll do

• Plan, build, and manage Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns to generate qualified leads
• Monitor campaign performance and optimise for cost per lead and conversion rate
• Manage and improve Google Business Profile and local SEO presence
• Track and report on key marketing metrics, providing clear monthly performance summaries
• Coordinate landing pages and website updates to support campaigns
• Support social media content planning and posting
• Add campaign creation with proficiency with AI tools (Claude GPT and other custom tools the business uses (Campaign Brain))
• Assist with general marketing administration and ad-hoc projects as they come up

Requirements

• Proven experience running Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns, ideally for a Australian local service or trade business (Electrical preferred)
• Strong understanding of performance tracking, conversion metrics, and campaign optimisation
• Comfortable managing Google Business Profile and local SEO best practices
• Clear, confident English communication skills for reporting and collaboration
• A proactive, autonomous working style with strong attention to detail
